Thank you for inquiring about my practice and how I might be of help. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I came to the field of counseling after years of working with children and families in a variety of settings including; human services, early childhood development, parenting, and many fulfilling years as an early childhood educator. I have also worked in the area of leadership development and women’s studies conducting numerous personal and spiritually based workshops.
Throughout my years of work and in the pursuit of my personal interests, I have had an underlying belief in the individual’s natural inclination towards growth, happiness, and healthy development. I work holistically, and have great respect for the inherent interplay between one’s biological, psychological, emotional, intellectual and spiritual dimensions. I thoroughly enjoy working with all developmental ages and consider myself privileged to work in a profession where my authenticity, respect, acceptance, and fostering of safety and trust sets the groundwork for a strong therapeutic relationship.
